Protection scope: selected pattern classes and configured fictional companies; labeled sensitive fields only where recognized. Arbitrary unlabeled names, handwriting, signatures and hidden document metadata are unsupported. OCR can miss text. Mask-all mode masks detected text, not every possible text pixel.
Measurements and limitations
No measurements yet.
Snapshot samples, uploaded frames, OCR jobs and distinct output changes are different counts. A frozen or repeated image is not a useful update. The source is sampled; brief content between samples can be missed.
How Mara works in this demo
- Capture with permission
- You select a tab through the normal browser picker. You inspect a local preview and separately approve remote transmission.
- Recognize and classify
- The server runs visual OCR and Mara's selected detection rules. It conceals matching regions with opaque masks and returns an actual image.
- Return approved output
- The browser checks the result's session, frame and policy. Errors and expired results conceal output. Stop ends capture and transport.
